Job summary

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) invites high-calibre professionals to join the IT project coordination team supporting the T2-T2C project programme, overseeing site inspections, system handover, and commissioning of IT infrastructure.

The role acts as liaison between ITD and ETSD on IT applications, monitors progress, coordinates with contractors and suppliers, and ensures delivery against budgets and milestones in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Minium 3 years of experience in IT project coordination or application management.
• Experience on IT system migration and integration projects from construction to operation.
• Knowledge of ITIL and Project Management fundamentals.
• English and Chinese language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in overseeing the T2-T2C project programme, including site inspections and coordinating the handover and commissioning of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Act as the primary liaison between ITD and ETSD on IT applications-related matters.
• Monitor the implementation and deployment progress of IT applications to align with schedules and objectives.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, contractors and suppliers on planning and project management.
• Provide project support and administrative coordination to ensure delivery against objectives and timelines.
• Manage and control budgets for application enhancement and upgrade initiatives for T1, T2 and T2C operations.
• Prepare and deliver progress updates, highlight milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct routine site inspections to monitor construction progress and installation of application-related devices.
• Support and supervise IT system migration and integration from construction through to operational readiness.
