Job summary

Cathay Pacific is launching an Engineering Graduate Trainee Programme in Hong Kong to develop high-potential engineers with technical, operational and leadership capabilities as the future of Cathay Engineering.

Through structured rotations, professional development opportunities and challenging projects, trainees gain exposure across Engineering operations, while building the skills to support safe, reliable and efficient fleet management.

Qualifications

Final year student or recent graduate in Engineering, Aerospace or a related discipline.
Right to work in Hong Kong (visa holders welcomed).
Excellent English communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead, influence or organise teams or projects.

Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of Cathay's Engineering Department and organisational goals.
Acquire broad understanding of Engineering operations through rotational assignments.
Develop leadership, decision-making and stakeholder management skills within a complex airline environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support initiatives.
Lead and contribute to projects and continuous improvement efforts with ownership and accountability.
Apply technical knowledge and data-driven approaches to support Engineering operations and delivery.
Contribute innovative ideas and leverage technologies to improve performance and outcomes.
Demonstrate adaptability and eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
