Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an Automation Engineer to develop high-quality software following the SDLC, focusing on control system design, PLC and HMI programming, and system implementation. You will coordinate across departments to meet customer requirements and project schedules, and provide support for on-site and remote troubleshooting at customer sites.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in engineering, at least 2 years in automation or semiconductor, and strong PLC/HMI

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Minimum 2 years of relevant automation/semiconductor industry experience.
Strong PLC and HMI programming skills.
Familiar with Omron and Mitsubishi PLCs and Pro-face HMIs.
Working knowledge of Motion Control, Analog, PIDs, and Process Control.
Knowledge of fieldbus communications such as Modbus, EtherCAT, and EIP.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
Able to read, design and troubleshoot from electrical schematics.
Willing to work under tight schedules and after-hours when required.

Responsibilities

Follow SDLC to develop high quality and maintainable software.
Draft functional and detailed design specifications.
Interpret and identify design parameters, ensure solutions are implemented accurately and within budget to meet project requirements and schedules.
Participate in control system requirement analysis.
Design, create detailed electrical schematics drawings and Updating.
Source and select Electrical Components, Preparation, and Issue of BOM.
Software Programming (PLC and HMI), System Implementation, Testing, Debugging.
Maintain detailed documentation.
Coordinate with relevant department to meet customer requirement and keep to project schedules.
Perform basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
