Job summary

MANUFACTURING INTEGRATION TECHNOLGY LTD in Hong Kong seeks a PC/PLC software engineer to support design, installation, commissioning and upgrades of factory automation equipment across industries. The role involves designing and implementing PLC control programs and guiding the software lifecycle to final buy-off, with strong customer collaboration and post-support responsibilities.

You will work with Allen Bradley, Omron and Beckhoff platforms, handle system testing, documentation, and provide

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Experience in automation or system integration projects across industries.
Knowledge of PLC programming on Allen Bradley, Omron and Beckhoff preferred.
Ability to design with customers on technical specifications and requirements.
Strong manufacturing/process engineering background with troubleshooting skills.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Excellent project management ability.

Responsibilities

Consult with customers and other departments on project status and technical issues.
Develop control signals and procedures using PC/PLC to monitor process variables.
Design and develop PC/PLC software systems and document them.
Direct software programming and development of documentation.
Develop applications to monitor, operate and analyze equipment status.
Develop and execute software testing and validation procedures.
Modify software for new hardware or interfaces and performance improvements.
Coordinate with engineering to resolve customer problems and define specs.
Provide technical support and instruction to staff and customers on software standards.
