Job summary

NV5 International is seeking a talented AV Engineer to design, coordinate, and implement audio-visual systems for a range of building, infrastructure, and mission-critical projects. The role requires strong AV design, project execution, and stakeholder coordination to deliver reliable technology solutions.

The candidate should have 5+ years in the AV industry, a relevant degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / High Diploma / Diploma in Electronic Engineering, Multimedia & Entertainment Technology, Building Service Engineering, Information & Communication Technology or relevant disciplines.
• At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in the AV industry, preferably in consultancy firm. (Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Engineer)
• Hldr of professional accreditations (CTS, CTS-D) is an advantage
• Solid experience in AV system design, including design review and/or project execution
• Experience in other ELV services is an advantage
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft applications
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
• Good project coordination, organization and problem solving skills
• Proactive, team player, able to work independently
• Willing to travel for site visits and surveys

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise related to AV systems
• Design, layout and produce system schematics, specification documentation and project execution
• Perform site observations and attend technical meetings for buildings and infrastructure
• Coordinate amongst project teams and clients to facilitate implementation
• Develop design documents using engineering and construction drawings
