Job summary

Principle One Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Project Manager to delegate and oversee IT/AV projects. You will coordinate with assistants, review progress, manage scope, schedule and budget to ensure on-time delivery.

You will develop project and implementation plans, liaise with vendors and clients, prepare documentation, and maintain strong relationships for future business. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT/AV project delivery and PM certifications.

Qualifications

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Minimum 5 years IT or AV project related experience.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
• PM certifications (PMP, Prince2) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delegate small/medium projects to assistants based on strengths and experience.
• Review delegated projects regularly and provide assistance as needed.
• Facilitate, control and monitor project implementation and report to management.
• Develop project and implementation plans by reviewing proposals, designs, and requirements.
• Coordinate with SMEs, vendors and subcontractors to deliver according to plans.
• Supervise assistants and ensure compliance with company methodologies.
• Prepare project documentation including charter, plans, submissions.
• Coordinate multiple projects from start to finish and ensure smooth operation.
• Build and maintain client relationships for future business opportunities.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs.

Job description

Delegate small / medium projects, or tasks of large scale projects to assistant project managers / project engineers based on individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels

Regularly review the delegated projects / tasks and provide assistance as needed

Ability to facilitate, control and monitor project implementation, report and escape to management as needed

Develop project plan and implementation plan by reviewing project proposals, infrastructure design, customer requirements and signed quotations

Coordinate with subject matter experts, vendors, subcontractors to execute project implementation according to the plans

Supervise assistant project managers / project engineers and supporting teammates comply with company methodologies and project principles

Prepare project documentation including project charter, project plan, implementation plan, programmes and project submissions

Coordinate and ensure smooth operation of multiple projects from start to finish

Build and maintain good working relationships with clients to ensure complete customer satisfaction and good prospects for future business

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
