Job summary

The role focuses on promoting both exchange-traded and OTC solutions, developing and sustaining client relationships, and collaborating with traders to execute orders while monitoring risk and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or related discipline; CFA or similar qualifications is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in commodities derivatives sales/marketing in reputable financial institutions.
• Strong regulatory and compliance knowledge for commodities.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Promote Exchange traded and OTC Commodities derivatives solutions to clients.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and determine products meeting client needs.
• Work with traders to execute daily client orders.
• Market events; manage counterparty relationships.
• Maintain client relationships; provide transaction support.
• Manage and review risk limits for clients and counterparties.
• Assist in developing new business and new products.
• Monitor trading positions and risk exposure.
• Identify market trends and risks.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for promoting both Exchange traded and OTC Commodities derivatives solutions to our clients;
• Developing and maintaining client relationships and determines which products best meet clients' needs;
• Working with traders to execute daily client orders in the best way possible;
• Responsible for marketing events, manage counterparty relationships;
• Maintain client relationships, provide transaction support;
• Manage and review risk limits for clients and counterparties;
• Assist in developing new business and new product;
• Monitor Trading positions and risk exposure;
• Pay attention to market trends, identify market risks;
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor degree holder or above with Finance, Economics or related disciplines; candidate with CFA or similar professional qualifications is a plus;
• At least 5 years of experience in commodities derivatives sales or marketing role from reputable financial institutions; candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
• Competent regulatory and compliance knowledge for commodities;
• Strong professionalism and sense of responsibility, diligence and good professional ethics;
• Excellent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), written and spoken.
