Job summary

The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) invites applications for the position of Associate Technical Officer – Information Technology Services Centre. The appointee will manage AV facilities, support teaching and events, and assist in vendor and budget management.

Strong English and Chinese, plus customer-focused service, are required. Applicants should hold a higher diploma or above in a related discipline, with at least three years of relevant experience.

Associate Technical Officer – Information Technology Services Centre (Ref: AssoTO (ITSC) 2026-07-31)

Responsibilities:

manage University AV facilities by ensuring smooth operation, support, and troubleshooting of all AV hardware and software for teaching and help desk needs;

support University’s events and set up corresponding AV equipment; and

assist in vendor, inventory, budget and maintenance management for AV equipment.

Applicants should:

possess a higher diploma or above qualification in related discipline, preferably with at least 3 years of relevant work experience;

have good knowledge of AV technologies;

have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;

have good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; and

be pleasant with a positive mindset, good customer sense and willing to learn new technologies.

The appointee will be required to work shifts in evenings and on weekends. Work experience in the higher education sector will be an advantage.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University reserves the right not to fill the position in this exercise.
