Responsibilities
Achieve agreed individual financial and non‑financial targets by acquiring, growing and retaining profitable Commercial Banking customers within acceptable risk parameters.
Collaborate and build effective partnerships with other RMs, team leaders, segment heads, and colleagues in CDD, risk, compliance and other support functions.
Effectively generate new business—identify prospects and convert in line with the bank’s appetite.
Strategically formulate account plans—provide clients’ needs‑based solutions, structure appropriate credit facilities and execute various banking transactions.
Proactively build trusted client relationships—maintain a portfolio of active and growing customers.
Market and cross‑sell a broad range of products including trade services, cash management, Treasury and investment based on customer needs.
Prepare credit proposals and loan applications; prepare annual reviews on time.
Work closely with the credit team to ensure good quality lending decisions and strict adherence to prevailing credit policy.
Implement agreed business plans to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Generate innovative ideas on customer acquisition and product/service development.
Support the execution of business strategy safely and in a well‑controlled manner, incorporating infrastructure requirements and ensuring fit‑for‑growth.
Conduct regular and timely customer due diligence (CDD) reviews.
Ensure CDD profiles are error‑free and signed off on time.
Follow and comply with AML CDD policies and procedures where applicable.
Identify KYC issues, provide solutions or escalations as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above.
HKSI licenses.
Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
