Job summary

Leapin Hong Kong is seeking an experienced data centre leader to shape capacity strategy and oversee multi-site facilities in a fast-paced environment. You will own OpEx/CapEx budgeting, ROI forecasts and revenue planning while driving high-density AI zones and reliable operations.

You will also lead ESG initiatives, build strong partnerships with government agencies and carriers, and manage seamless onboarding, testing and migrations for global R&D and enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in leadership roles within data centre environments.
• Experience in multi-site hyperscale or campus-scale IDC facilities.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute a roadmap for data centre capacity and intelligent computing.
• Own full P&L accountability across OpEx, CapEx, ROI and revenue forecasting.
• Oversee new builds, expansions, retrofits, and high-density AI zones.
• Ensure 24/7 operational excellence with safety and unified SOPs.
• Lead ESG initiatives including PUE, renewable energy, water recycling and cooling.
• Drive tenant onboarding, testing, cutover, and workload migration with minimal disruption.
• Develop colocation, rack leasing and private AI pod solutions for clients.
• Build partnerships with government, utilities, carriers and certification bodies.

Job description

• Own full P&L accountability spanning OpEx, CapEx, ROI, rack capacity, and revenue forecasting.
• Oversee new builds, expansions, retrofits, and high-density AI zones across both campuses.
• Deliver 24/7 operational excellence with uncompromising reliability, safety, and unified SOPs.
• Drive industry-leading ESG outcomes: best-in-class PUE, renewable energy integration, water recycling, and advanced liquid cooling.
• Lead seamless tenant onboarding, acceptance testing, cutover, and workload migration with minimal disruption.
• Co-create colocation, rack leasing, and private AI pod solutions for global R&D, biotech, cloud, and enterprise clients.
• Build enduring partnerships with government agencies, utilities, telecom carriers, submarine cable operators, and certification bodies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA or MSc preferred.
• 12+ years of leadership experience in data centre, with at least 5+ years managing multi-site hyperscale or campus-scale IDC facilities.
• Strong knowledge of FM200 systems, liquid cooling, and renewable energy solutions.
• Professional certifications such as REW Grade H, RSO, or Uptime ATD highly preferred.
• Proven business ownership mindset, sharp problem-solving ability, and strong stakeholder influence.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin).
