Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in securities, asset management, private equity or credit or banking middle-office risk control.
• Solid understanding of margin financing and credit operations.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Support margin financing and credit line assessment and approval, including collateral valuation monitoring, margin calls and risk alerts.
• End-to-end credit analysis and execution: client credit assessment, credit limit approval, post-disbursement monitoring and risk escalation.
• Provide middle-office risk and approval support for derivatives business (equity and interest rate derivatives, warrants/CBBCs, options).
• Support compliance and risk review for notes and fixed income related business.
• Conduct credit research and financial statement analysis on listed companies and prepare credit assessment notes.
• Compile and analyze business data, prepare periodic performance and risk reports to support management decisions.
• Support compliance and regulatory requirements, cross-functional coordination and approval record-keeping.

Associate, Credit Solution & Control Specialist

As a member of the Private Wealth Management Credit Solution team, you will support PWM Sales, PWM product team, risk control team, credit approval and data analytics across margin financing, credit, derivatives and notes business. You will play a key gatekeeping and coordination role, balancing business growth with prudent risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Support margin financing and credit line assessment and approval, including collateral valuation monitoring, margin calls and risk alerts;

Participate in end-to-end credit analysis and execution: client credit assessment, credit limit approval, post-disbursement monitoring and risk escalation;

Provide middle-office risk and approval support for derivatives business (equity and interest rate derivatives, warrants/CBBCs, options);

Support compliance and risk review for notes and fixed income related business;

Conduct credit research and financial statement analysis on listed companies and prepare credit assessment notes;

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline;

3–5 years of relevant experience in securities, asset management, private equity or credit or banking middle-office risk control, credit or financing business. Will consider for more senior position with more experience;

Solid understanding of margin financing and credit operations, with basic knowledge of derivatives structures and their risks;

Strong ability to analyze listed companies financial statements; excellent data summarization and analytical skills; proficient in Excel and data tools;

Positive, proactive and responsible attitude, meticulous and rigorous, with strong communication and teamwork skills;

Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese (both usable as working languages).

Preferred

CFA, FRM or equivalent professional qualifications;

Prior experience in institutional business / private banking / wealth management;

Familiarity with SFC regulatory requirements (e.g. margin financing and client assets rules).
