Job summary

Haitong International Management Services Company Limited is seeking an Associate for Credit Solution & Control to support PWM Sales, product teams, risk control, credit approvals, and data analytics across margin financing, credit, derivatives and notes businesses.

The role focuses on gatekeeping and coordination to balance growth with prudent risk management, requiring strong analytical skills, bilingual English/Chinese proficiency, and a solid foundation in finance and credit operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in securities, asset management, private equity or credit or banking middle-office risk control.
• Solid understanding of margin financing and credit operations.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Support margin financing and credit line assessment and approval, including collateral valuation monitoring, margin calls and risk alerts.
• End-to-end credit analysis and execution: client credit assessment, credit limit approval, post-disbursement monitoring and risk escalation.
• Provide middle-office risk and approval support for derivatives business (equity and interest rate derivatives, warrants/CBBCs, options).
• Support compliance and risk review for notes and fixed income related business.
• Conduct credit research and financial statement analysis on listed companies and prepare credit assessment notes.
• Compile and analyze business data, prepare periodic performance and risk reports to support management decisions.
• Support compliance and regulatory requirements, cross-functional coordination and approval record-keeping.
