Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong is seeking a Surveillance Review professional to perform detailed reviews of front-office activities for compliance with policy and regulations. You will detect mis-selling, conduct trend analyses, and support regulatory inspections while coordinating with Compliance and COO teams.

The role requires a degree and 3–5 years in banking operations and risk control, with strong English and Chinese communication and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with 3–5 years in banking operations and risk control.
• Able to analyse situations, prioritise, implement processes and solve problems.
• Detail minded, mature, tactful, independent and well organized.
• Strong control sense with ability to identify risk and provide recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficient English and Chinese; MS Office proficient.

Responsibilities

• Perform surveillance review including voice log review and suitability assessments.
• Detect mis-selling and suspicious activities; contribute to risk investigations.
• Analyze trends in exceptions to identify risk areas and provide training.
• Collaborate with Compliance, COO Office and risk governance for regulatory requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end process, including framework and controls for related topics.
• Prepare monthly management information reports for risk governance forums.
