Job summary

Davisons group is seeking an Equity Research Analyst in Hong Kong. The role focuses on identifying investment opportunities, conducting industry and company research, and building financial and valuation models to support investment decisions.

You will prepare presentations, reports, and market updates, and present recommendations to deal teams and clients. Strong English and Chinese skills, plus travel willingness, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree or related field required with CFA/CPA preferred.
• 2–3 years of equity research experience.
• Strong research, financial analysis, writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and integrated analysis.
• Familiar with research and financial tools preferred.
• Willing to travel to China and overseas.

Job description

• Actively contributes in due diligence, documentation review, road show arrangement and deal settlement;
• Liaise with clients and professional parties in deal execution; and
• Handle ad hoc projects as and when required.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in finance, accounting, economics, legal or related disciplines with additional professional qualifications such as CFA / CPA is preferred;
• 2-3 years of relevant equity research experiences;
• Possess strong research, financial analysis, writing and presentation skills;
• Knowledge of building financial and valuation modeling and performing integrated analysis essential;
• Familiar with research and financial tools preferred;
• Highly motivated, independent, well organized and willing to work under pressure;
• High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
• Frequent travel to China and overseas will be required.
