IDG Capital Management (HK) Limited is seeking a finance analyst to support portfolio monitoring across AI, healthcare, manufacturing and consumer sectors in Hong Kong. You will maintain the internal portfolio database and perform financial analysis and valuation for reporting purposes.

The role involves researching portfolio companies and potential investments, preparing reports and meeting materials, and handling ad-hoc tasks for finance managers.

Qualifications

• Finance or accounting degree required.
• 1–2 years equity research, accounting, valuation or related finance experience.
• Logical thinker and fast learner.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Proficient in English; Putonghua is essential.

The position offers a great career development opportunity for candidates who would like to gain exposure in the PE/VC sector in China. You are expected to assist in the ongoing monitoring of a wide range of portfolio companies across the AI, healthcare, advanced manufacturing and consumer sectors, maintaintheinternal database for portfolio information, and perform financial analysis and portfolio valuation for financial reporting purposes. You are also expected to conduct in-depth research on portfolio companies and potential investments, and prepare relevant reports and meeting materials. In addition, you will work on ad-hoctasks assigned by finance managers from time to time, which are mainly in relation to portfolio management and investor reporting.

To qualify, the candidates should possess:

A university degree in finance and accounting, or a business-related discipline

1-2 years of equity research, accounting, valuationor relevant experience in the finance industry

A logical thinker and a fast learner

Strong report writing and communication (written and verbal) skills

Ability to complete work assignments independently and under pressure

Good command of written & spoken English, proficiency in Putonghua is essential

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
