Job summary

ICBC International Holdings Limited is seeking an experienced Equity Research professional in Hong Kong to conduct in-depth research on industrials and auto sectors, perform fundamental and financial analyses, and prepare comprehensive reports for clients and decision-makers.

The role requires 3+ years in investment banking, consulting, equity research or private equity, strong analytical and modeling skills, and fluent English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related fields.
• At least 3 years in investment banking, consulting, equity research or private equity or related experience.
• Experience covering industrials and auto sectors preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to write research reports complying with regulations and in-house standards.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research across the industrials and auto universe.
• Perform fundamental and financial analysis on industry trends.
• Prepare company, sector and pre-deal research reports.
• Respond to client data, analysis, financial models, etc.
• Assist in sector related ad-hoc research projects.
• Organize and participate in non-deal road shows, forums and company visits.
• Responsible for marketing duty of meeting with investors.
• Participate in departmental projects or tasks assigned.

Job description

• Conduct primary and secondary research across the industrials and auto universe;
• Perform fundamental and financial analysis on trends of relevant industry development;
• Independently prepare and write company research reports, sector reports and Pre-deal research reports;
• Respond promptly to client request for data, analysis, financial models, etc.;
• Assist in sector related ad-hoc research projects;
• Organize and participate in non-deal road shows, forums and company visit;
• Responsible for marketing duty of meeting with investors;
• Participate in departmental projects or tasks assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or other relevant majors;
• Minimum of 3 years experiences or above in investment banking, consulting, equity research or private equity or other relevant experience;
• Experience covering the industrials and auto sectors is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
• Solid financial modeling and valuation skills;
• Strong ability in data mining and information searching from different sources;
• Able to write research reports complying with regulations and in-house standards;
• Able to communicate and convince research ideas effectively;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to form effective working relationships;
• Proactive in taking responsibilities and be able to multi-task;
• Passionate and motivated to contribute to investment banking field;
• Fluency in English and Mandarin；Both written and verbal communication skills;
• Capability of working closely with team members and delivering quality work under tight schedules.
