Job Summary

The IPO Vetting Department of the Listing Division is responsible for processing (1) applications for new equity listings including transactions by listed companies deemed to be new listings; and (2) pre-IPO enquiries relating to new equity listings.

Job Duties

Job Responsibilities: Perform the role of a team manager in processing IPO applications and monitor progress of a portfolio of listing applications Draft comment letters and Department reports to Listing Committee Assist in handling pre-IPO enquiries and IPO related policy matters Provide support for ad‑hoc projects as assigned by supervisor Provide accounting, legal or other professional support to the work of the Listing Division

Job Requirements

• Qualified lawyers/accountants with a minimum of 7 years working experience or university graduates of other relevant disciplines with at least 7 years working experience in law, accounting, corporate finance, investment banking or a related field
• Good experience that demonstrates knowledge of the Listing Rules and knowledge of the securities industry and its practices including securities laws and accounting practices
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with knowledge of investigative techniques and procedures
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Putonghua fluency is an advantage
