Assistant Vice President, FX (Treasury) Specialist - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Assistant Vice President, FX (Treasury) Specialist - C12) – Hong Kong

Position Summary

As an Assistant Vice President, FX (Treasury) Specialist, you will provide daily market updates, promote and advise customers on treasury products, identify new sales opportunities, and collaborate with bankers and branch managers to achieve individual Treasury goals. You will also manage risk, ensure compliance with laws and policies, and support clients with leading treasury solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily market updates and trading strategic plans for clients and sales staff.
• Promote and advise customers on treasury products, major emphasis on Premium Account (PA), FX margin, Treasury Plus, FX leveraged, FX conversion, Gold trading, RMB and FX‑structured products.
• Identify and solicit new leads for sales opportunities through outbound calls and face‑to‑face interviews with customers.
• Give coaching and motivation on FX products through daily interactions; pair with bankers to meet team goals.
• Be responsible for delivering individual Treasury goals; work with Branch Managers to set plans to meet financial commitments.
• Assess risk appropriately, demonstrate consideration for the firm’s reputation, safeguard Citigroup, clients and assets, drive compliance, and report control issues transparently.

Qualifications & Skills

• Undergraduate degree preferably in business disciplines.
• Good working knowledge of various treasury instruments and market forecasting techniques.
• Relevant experience servicing FX margin clients and individual accounts.
• Enthusiasm in achieving goals with a positive, open mindset to embrace change.
• Excellent communication and people skills; fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Licensed in HKSI paper 1, 7, 8.
