Job summary

Dao Kee Construction Company Limited seeks an Assistant Project Manager with a Building Studies certificate and at least 1 year post-qualification experience in building maintenance, to help manage site works.

You will coordinate activities, perform site checks, supervise materials purchasing, ensure quality and safety compliance, and communicate with stakeholders. English and Chinese fluency is required; willingness to work six days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in building maintenance.
• Holder of Ordinary Certificate or above in Building Studies or equivalent.
• Completed Safety Training Course for Site Management Staff and Safety Training Refresher Course (preferred).
• Willing to work full-time for 6 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate works on site and perform site checks.
• Oversee materials purchase, quality control, and safety compliance checks.
• Assist in construction management and other duties as assigned.

Education

Building Studies certificate/Ordinary Certificate

Job description

Holder of Ordinary Certificate or above in Building Studies or equivalent, with minimum 1 year's post-qualification experience in building maintenance aspects.

Completed the Safety Training Course for Site Management Staff provided by CIC/HKIC/OSHC; upon completion of the above course for 5 years or above, subsequently completed the Safety Training Refresher Course for Site Management Staff or alike provided by CIC/OSHC or equivalent training provided by other organizations.

Completed the Safety and Health Supervisor (Construction) Course or alike provided by OSHC/CIC/ HKIC; upon completion of the above course for 4 years or above, subsequently completed the Enhancement Course for Construction Safety Supervisors or alike provided by CIC/ OSHC or equivalent training provided by other organizations.

Attendance at the “Maintenance is Service” Training Course – Module for Contractor’s Staff organized by CIC/ HKIC will be considered an advantage.

Willing to work full-time for 6 days per week (except Public Holidays)

Previous experience in HKHA maintenance projects is highly preferred.

Able to perform the duties of construction management, including coordination of works, site checks, materials purchase, quality control, safety compliance checks, and other duties as assigned.

Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Highly self-motivated and independent, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
