Job summary

Hip Hing Construction Company Limited, a main contractor in Hong Kong, seeks a Safety Supervisor to support the OH&S management system on various building and civil projects. You will monitor site safety, deliver training, and participate in audits.

Fresh graduates are welcome. DSE or higher and a Construction Safety Supervisor certificate are required; good command of MS Word/Excel and bilingual English/Chinese is expected. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• DSE or above; fresh graduates welcome.
• Certificate in Construction Safety Supervisor (OSHC or CIC) is required.
• No prior work experience required.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; Chinese and English word processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisors to implement and maintain the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
• Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with local health & safety regulations.
• Provide safety training, conduct inspections, investigate accidents & prepare reports.

Job description

• Assist his/her supervisors to implement and maintain the corporate Occupational Health and Safety Management System
• Monitor the site operations and make sure they are in compliance with local health & safety regulations
• Provide safety training, carry out inspection, conduct accident investigation & prepare analysis reports
• Support internal and external system audits
• Facilitate a healthy and safe work environment for all staff and workers

Requirements

• DSE or above, or equivalent (Fresh graduate would be welcomed)
• Certificate in Construction Safety Supervisor (OSHC or CIC)
• No prior work experience required
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Chinese and English word processing.
• Immediately available is preferable
