Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a site engineer to lead design and on-site coordination for radio/telecommunication and audio/video projects in Hong Kong. You will plan installations, monitor subcontractors, report progress, and ensure quality across assignments.

The candidate should have a degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline and at least 2 years of hands-on experience with radio/telecom systems. Fluency in English and Chinese is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in radio/telephone/audio/video systems.
• Site working experience is required.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Sound technical skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design, site work planning, installation, monitoring and coordination for radio/telephone/audio/video systems.
• Involve in contract administration, cost estimation, documentation, QS work and site management.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor and check subcontractors' work quality.
• Attend meetings and submit site progress reports.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and monitor site progress.
• Maintain delivered systems and duty rota is required.

The Job:

• Be responsible for design, site work planning, installation, monitoring and co-ordination works for radio / telephone / audio / video system projects and report to team leader
• Involve in contract administration, cost estimation, documentation, QS work and site management for radio system projects
• Be responsible for regular site inspection to monitor and check the subcontractors' work quality
• Attend meetings and submit site progress reports
• Coordinate with subcontractors and monitor site progress
• Be responsible for maintenance work on the delivered systems and duty rota is required

Successful applicant:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or relating discipline
• A minimum of 2 years’ solid experience with exposure at radio / telephone / audio / video system and/or control center system
• Site working experience is required
• Sound technical skills, analytical mind and interpersonal skill
• Well-organized, work independently and under pressure
• Good communication in written and spoken of English and Chinese
