Job summary

Aurecon Group in Hong Kong is seeking a TCP-T3 Civil/Structural/Geotechnical engineer to join the Buildings team. You will supervise civil, structural and geotechnical works on-site, assist engineers with drawing conflicts, and ensure adherence to Buildings Ordinance, Building Authority plans, and contract specs.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years TCP-T3 experience, English and Chinese proficiency, and a drive for learning within a global engineering practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical discipline.
• Geotechnical top-up course an advantage.
• Confined Space certification an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years’ TCP-T3 experience in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical engineering; at least 1 year local experience.
• TCP-T3 in RSE and/or RGE stream.
• Good command of English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality supervision and site safety supervision of Civil / Structural / Geotechnical works (substructures, superstructures, temporary works, testing & commissioning) construction.
• Assist Structural Engineers to resolve conflicts found among drawings.
• Ensure works comply with Buildings Ordinance, Regulations, Building Authority plan and contract specifications.
• Monitor work progress on site.
• Prepare reports and keep records of works carried out.
• Perform other duties on contract management as designated.

What will you do?

In this position, you will join our Hong Kong Buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of Built Environment projects such as schools, data centres, casinos and a variety of Government projects. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart.

• Carry out quality supervision and site safety supervision of all Civil / Structural / Geotechnical works (including substructures, superstructures, associated temporary works and associated testing & commissioning) construction;
• Assist the Structural Engineers to resolve the conflict found amongst drawings;
• Ensure the works are complying with the Buildings Ordinance and Regulations, Building Authority's approved plan and contract specification.
• Monitor the work progress on site;
• Prepare reports and keep records of works carried out; and
• Perform other duties on contract management as designated.

• Degree holder in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical discipline;
• Candidates who have attended and passed specified geotechnical top-up course would be an advantage;
• Candidates who are Certified Worker for Confined Space would be an advantage;
• Minimum 2 years’ experience for TCP-T3 in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical engineering. The relevant experience must have been gained within the previous 8 years and at least 1 year must be local experience.
• Performing as TCP T3 in RSE and / or RGE stream;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
