Job summary

A leading financial institution in Hong Kong is seeking a full-time Business Development Advisor. You will assist in the opening of business accounts and serve a designated portfolio in the SME Banking sector. The role requires a degree holder in business-related fields, strong communication skills in English and Chinese, and familiarity with corporate banking products. Qualifications

• Degree holder or above, ideally in Business Administration or Finance.
• Good command of English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Prior internship experience in SME Banking is a plus.
• Exposure to credit proposal preparation.

• Assist in Business Integrated Account opening and KYC actions.
• Serve a designated portfolio of accounts in SME Banking.
• Develop portfolio by prospecting new clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Business Integrated Account (BIA) opening and other KYC actions
• Attend client meeting with senior CRM and assist in document preparation, logistics management and other tasks assigned
• Serve a designated portfolio of accounts in the SME Banking business segment
• Develop the portfolio by prospecting new clients and offering suitable corporate banking services to the existing customers

Requirements

• Degree holder or above (ideally in Business Administration, Finance or business-related disciplines)
• Prior internship experience in the SME Banking business segment is a plus
• Good knowledge of the corporate banking and treasury products and services
• Familiar with the general banking operations and its legal and regulatory requirements
• Previous exposure to the preparation of credit proposals
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of both verbal and written English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin is a plus
