Job summary

Intesa Sanpaolo Hong Kong Branch seeks an Assistant Relationship Manager to support Relationship Managers in developing and managing relationships with reference customers in the Hong Kong area. You will ensure timely administrative tasks, assist in profitability and risk objectives, and help prepare credit applications and client communications.

The role requires 1–3 years in a similar position, a university degree in a relevant field, strong English, and preferably Mandarin or Italian language

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a related role.
• University degree and/or postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in Front-Office roles is preferred.
• Preliminary understanding of relevant risk categories.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
• Analytical ability for financial statement and market analysis preferred.
• Advanced English (spoken and written).
• Advanced Mandarin and/or Italian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in managing reference customers and implementing corrective actions.
• Assist in achieving profitability, commercial and risk objectives for reference customers.
• Attend client meetings with Relationship Managers.
• Prepare Credit Applications (excluding Credit Proposition).
• Perform administrative tasks and checks for clients under management, also in teams.
• Interface with clients to resolve issues and requests.
• Ensure task quality, deadlines, and urgent transaction engagement.
• Ensure client management complies with processes and regulations.
• Take on other tasks from the Corporate Desk Head and Head Office.

Job description

As an Assistant Relationship Manager at Intesa Sanpaolo Hong Kong Branch you will support Relationship Managers in developing and managing the relationship with the reference customers in the relevant geographical area and you will ensure the performance of all administrative tasks to support Relationship Managers’ activity.

What you'll be doing

• Support Relationship Managers in the management of the reference customers and in the implementation of any necessary corrective actions
• Support Relationship Managers in achieving profitability, commercial, and risk objectives for the refence customers
• Support Relationship Managers in client meetings
• Handle tasks related to the preparation of Credit Applications (excluding the formulation of the Credit Proposition)
• Perform, also acting in team, administrative activities and checks related to clients under management
• Actively interface with clients to manage and resolve issues and requests
• Ensure the quality of the performed tasks and the adherence to deadlines, ensure operationally engagement in urgent transactions
• Ensure proper client management in compliance with operational processes and company regulations
• Handle any other specific task inherent to the Corporate Desk that can be assigned by the Head of Corporate Desk and by Head Office

Who we are looking for
