Job summary

Chevalier (Envirotech) Limited invites applications for a contract quantity surveying role in its Hong Kong office. You will handle contract quantity surveying duties, compile commercial records, and assist in cost planning for construction projects.

The ideal candidate has a Higher Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying, at least 2 years' experience, and familiarity with NEC3/NEC4 is an advantage. Proficiency in English and Chinese and supervisory abilities are required.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in construction industry.
• Good command of English and Chinese.

• Prepare cost plans to enable design team to develop practical designs for construction projects.
• Monitor the project progress and assist in the valuation of variations.
• Liaise with project team for contractual issues such as reviewing and drafting correspondences, dispute resolution, provision of contractual advice.

Chevalier (Envirotech) Limited has entered into the environmental engineering sector since 1983 andhas established itself as a trusted specialist in the fields of water treatment, wastewater treatment, air quality monitoring, solid waste treatment and disposal as well as fuel gas transmission and distribution systems in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Handle all contract quantity surveying duties for the projects
• Compile and update commercial accounts and records
• Prepare cost plans to enable design team to develop practical designs for construction projects
• Monitor the project progress and assist in the valuation of variations
• Liaise with project team for contractual issues such as reviewing and drafting correspondences, dispute resolution, provision of contractual advice etc

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in construction industry
• Knowledge and work experience in NEC3/NEC4 would be an advantage
• Work experience in relation with E&M work/MEP work would be an advantage
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good supervisory skill
