Job summary

WECON LIMITED invites applications for a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor. The role focuses on pre-contract and post-contract activities, cost estimation, variation valuation and budget control, with independent certification of payments and final accounts.

Applicants should have a higher diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, strong numerical sense, and proficiency in English and Chinese. Fresh graduates will also be considered; attractive remuneration and career advancement

• Strong numerical sense and data interpretation ability.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Handle pre-contract and post-contract works including subletting and negotiation.
• Perform re-measurement, variation valuation, cost estimation and extension of time claims.
• Monitor cash flow, certify payments and final accounts independently.
• Develop cost planning and project budgeting; manage subcontractor accounts.

Job description

To handle pre-contract and post-contract works including subletting and negotiation skill, re-measurement, valuation of variation, cost estimation, extension of time claim, cash flow monitoring, certifying payment and final account settlement independently;

Developing cost planning and project budgeting;

Dealing with Sub-contractor’s account;

Assist to handle contractual related issues.

Requirements:

Higher Diploma / Degree or above in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or related disciplines;

Strong numerical sense, excellent data interpretation & analytical skills;

Self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility;

Experience in project of Maintenance will be preferred;

Good commend of written & spoken English and Chinese;

Fresh graduated will be also considered.
