ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
1.0 JOB OBJECTIVES
The Assistant Merchandiser supports the APAC Merchandising team in managing merchandising operations, business reporting, and e-commerce content execution across the region. The role ensures accurate product data management, timely business analysis, and smooth coordination of e-commerce product photography and content production with headquarters, markets, and external agencies.
2.0 RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for preparing routine weekly, monthly merchandising reports.
- Support data management and maintenance in PLM, TM1.
- Ensure product information accuracy and timely updates across relevant platforms.
- Assist the APAC merchandising team in day-to-day merchandising activities.
- Support sales analysis, product performance tracking, and business review preparation.
E-commerce Content & Shooting Coordination
- Coordinate APAC e-commerce product shootings with French Headquarter and external agencies.
- Manage shooting schedules and sample arrangement to ensure timely content delivery.
- Support the preparation, organization, and quality control of product imagery and digital content.
Market & Business Support
- Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, local merchandising teams and French Headquarter.
- Contribute insights and recommendations to support merchandising decisions.
- Assist and contribute to local seminar organization.
PROFILE
Expected:
- Agile mindset, proactive, detail-oriented, efficient and willing to learn and grow.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in the apparel, fashion retail, marketing, or e-commerce industry is preferred.
- Good understanding of retail dynamics, product lifecycle management, and consumer preferences across key Asian markets.
- Proficient in spoken and Written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin); knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, markets, and cultures.
- Well-organized with strong planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Business Application:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
