Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Hong Kong is seeking a valuation specialist who will assist in delivering valuation services and executing PRC valuations with market research, modelling and data analysis. The role involves travel within the PRC and supporting business development through proposals and market presentations.

You will drive the adoption of technology, data analytics, AI tools, and valuation modelling techniques to improve efficiency while collaborating with teams in Hong Kong,

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in real estate, surveying, economics or business related discipline.
• 3+ years working experience in real estate valuation, advisory, consulting, investment or related fields.
• Strong interest in REITs, private equity, funds and real estate investment markets.
• Willing to pursue professional qualifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools.
• Fluent English and Chinese (Putonghua) reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of valuation services.

About the role:

• Assist in the delivery of valuation services.
• Assist in the execution of Valuations in the PRC - including market research, valuation modelling, data analysis, site inspections, report preparation and review, ensuring technical accuracy and quality of deliverables.
• Individual is expected to travel on assignments within the PRC.
• Assist seniors in business development activities with project pitch and proposal preparation, fee negotiations, and market presentations.
• Drive the adoption of technology, data analytics, AI tools, and valuation modelling techniques to improve efficiency and enhance service delivery.
• Support the team with upkeep of internal data library.
• Collaborate with team members across Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.
• Build and maintain excellent client relationships.

You will have:

• Graduate degree in real estate, surveying, economics or business related discipline
• 3+ years working experience, preferably in real estate valuation, , advisory, consulting, investment or related fields.
• Passion for Real Estate and strong interest in REITs, private equity, funds and real estate investment markets.
• Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, real estate markets, investment analysis, and capital market dynamics.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, data analytics, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools and automation solutions.
• Willing to pursue professional qualifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High initiative with good team work
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua).
• Proficiency in MS applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Experience with VBA, Python, Power BI, or other data analytics tools is desirable.
