What this job involves:

We are seeking a strategic and proactive Assistant Manager to oversee the end-to-end recruitment function. You will partner with hiring managers to align talent strategies with business objectives, lead critical projects, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. This role requires a blend of operational excellence, stakeholder management, and change leadership to drive workforce effectiveness.

What your day-to‑day will look like:

Oversee full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, to meet organizational needs.

Collaborate with hiring managers to design and execute talent acquisition strategies that support business growth and workforce planning.

Provide guidance and mentorship to the TA team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Lead manpower restructuring initiatives, optimizing headcount and realigning roles to address evolving business demands.

Manage the Enhanced Supplementary Labour Scheme (ESLS), ensuring compliance with immigration and employment ordinance regulations.

Drive TA projects and change initiatives, such as system implementations (e.g., ATS upgrades) and process enhancements, aligned with company policies.

Prepare regular HR analytics reports for leadership, highlighting recruitment metrics, cost-per-hire, and time-to-fill trends.

Act as a subject matter expert on employment laws and recruitment best practices, advising stakeholders on risk mitigation.

Execute ad hoc assignments as directed by management, including cross-functional projects or crisis management support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory

Knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance

Proven ability to lead projects, manage stakeholders, and drive change in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Strong analytical skills with experience in HR reporting and data-driven decision-making.

Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese

Proficiency in HRIS/ATS tools (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.
