Job summary

Mox is seeking an Assistant Manager, Investment Operations in Hong Kong (SAR) to oversee end-to-end post-trade operations and support wealth products across asset classes. You will manage settlement, reconciliation, and lifecycle activities, while ensuring accurate corporate actions processing and control governance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, with at least 3 years in middle office or asset servicing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree requirement in Finance/Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in middle office, asset servicing, equities operations, or equivalent roles in financial services.
  • Broad knowledge of investment products (preferred).
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong risk awareness and escalation discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with external counterparties.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; adaptable in a dynamic environment.
  • Availability to support during Hong Kong public holidays and outside regular hours.
  • Solid understanding of banking and investment industry practices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily post-trade operations across multiple asset classes, including funding, trade matching, settlement, reconciliation, and lifecycle management.
  • Execute end-to-end corporate action processing with accountability for exception resolution.
  • Manage transfer requests, primary market operations, and other wealth product activities.
  • Provide operational support to Client Services in resolving client inquiries.
  • Conduct reconciliation and verification of general ledger entries and system records.
  • Support risk and control governance through evidence preparation, MIS reporting, and audit coordination.
  • Use sound judgment to resolve operational issues and escalate as needed.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and risk controls.
  • Collaborate with Business and Technology stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.

  • Exercise sound judgment in resolving operational issues and escalating matters where appropriate;
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to drive operational efficiency and strengthen risk controls;
  • Collaborate with Business and Technology stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately translated into delivered solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in middle office, asset servicing, equities operations, or equivalent roles within banking, securities, asset management, or other financial services institutions;
  • Broad knowledge of investment products (preferred);
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong risk awareness and disciplined escalation approach;
  • Excellent communication skills, proactive engagement, and demonstrated ability to work effectively with external counterparties;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with adaptability in a dynamic environment;
  • Flexibility to provide support during Hong Kong public holidays and outside regular business hours as required;
  • Solid understanding of banking and investment industry practices and procedures.
