Job summary

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited is seeking a vigilant Compliance and Internal Controls professional in Hong Kong. The role focuses on on-site and off-site assessments of internal control frameworks, policy maintenance, and advisory support to business units from an internal-control perspective.

Candidates should bring at least three years in compliance, risk management, or internal audit within the financial sector, and strong analytical and communication skills in Chinese

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant compliance, internal control, risk management or internal audit experience in financial sector.
• Experience in writing internal policies and procedures and management reporting in Chinese and English.
• Project management experience on bank-wide projects.
• Experience in data analysis using statistical tools to identify risk areas.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written and oral communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• ECF on Compliance holder is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based reviews and inspections to assess internal control effectiveness.
• Monitor remediation effectiveness and report results.
• Maintain bank policies and procedures management framework and consolidated policy list.
• Provide ad-hoc advisory support to business units from an internal control perspective.
