Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola is seeking a proactive communications professional to join Corporate Communications, focusing on internal and leadership communications while supporting global programmes and cross-market collaboration. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunities to drive strategic planning through execution.

Reporting to the Corporate Communications Director, the role requires strong English writing, storytelling, and project management skills across markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese would be an advantage.
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and develop engaging communications.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across functions and markets.
  • Proactive, collaborative and hands-on, with strong attention to detail and ownership from planning through execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key internal communication channels and content, including the internal newsletter, business updates, employee stories and other digital communications.
  • Support leadership communications and engagement programmes, including CEO engagement initiatives and the Global Town Hall.
  • Plan and deliver communications for global campaigns and programmes, including safety, employee recognition and strategic corporate initiatives.
  • Coordinate regular communications between Global and market teams, facilitating information sharing and alignment of best practices.
  • Develop clear and engaging communication materials, including plans, key messages, toolkits, presentations and storytelling content.
  • Coordinate volunteering, community and employee activities with communications to drive awareness and participation.
  • Support crisis and issues communication readiness, including materials, training and simulations.

Job description

Swire Coca-Cola is looking for a proactive and hands-on communications professional to join our Corporate Communications team. The role will have a strong focus on internal and leadership communications, while supporting global communication programmes, cross-market collaboration, employee and community initiatives, and crisis communication readiness.

Working closely with Global functions and markets, you will help create engaging communications that connect our people with our business, leaders and priorities, while strengthening collaboration and communication across the organisation.

This is a position for any well-rounded communications professional, who wish to polish their strong communication judgement, creativity and execution skill. You will be exposed to the opportunity of working across markets and with senior stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who can take ownership from strategic planning to execution.

This role reports to Corporate Communications Director.

Candidates with broader experience will be considered at Manager level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage key internal communication channels and content, including the internal newsletter, business updates, employee stories and other digital communications.

  • Develop clear and engaging communication materials, including communication plans, key messages, toolkits, presentations and storytelling content.
  • Coordinate Global Office volunteering, community and selected employee activities, including communications to drive awareness and participation.
  • Support crisis and issues communication readiness, including communication materials, training and simulations, and provide communications support during incidents or emerging issues.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across functions and markets to ensure communications are timely, relevant and aligned with business priorities.
The Successful Applicant:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations or a related field. Candidates with broader experience and demonstrated ability to independently manage complex communication projects may be considered for Manager level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese would be an advantage.
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and develop engaging communications.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across functions, markets and levels of seniority.
  • Proactive, collaborative and hands‑on, with strong attention to detail and the ability to take ownership from planning through execution.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and common digital communication tools; experience with content creation, design, video or AI‑enabled communication tools would be an advantage.
  • Experience in leadership communications, regional/global communications, crisis communications or issues management would be an advantage.
