Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an Assistant Collection Manager in Hong Kong to support risk, control monitoring, MI reporting, and back-office operations. The role involves coordinating projects around operations, system enhancements, and process improvements to ensure efficient delivery of collections services.

You will assist in debt collection and recovery for mortgages and secured products while maintaining staff guidance through clear procedure manuals.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business or related discipline.
• Around 3 years’ relevant experience in credit risk and/or risk and control.
• Experience in retail banking is advantageous.

Our client, is a reputable local leadingbank, who isseeking for a Assistant Collection Manager to support their team.

Responsible for risk and control monitoring, MI report preparation, account reconciliation, and a range of back-office operations.

Coordinate projects covering operations, system enhancements, MI/reporting and process re-engineering to ensure stable and efficient delivery of collections services.

Support Secured Collection Manager to handle debt collection and recovery activities for mortgages and secured products.

Prepare departmental documentation (including procedure manual) to provide a concise step by step guide for staff members to follow.

Requirements

University degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications.

Around 3 years’ relevant experience in credit risk and/or risk and control, ideally supported by a relevant professional qualification

Strong knowledge of retail banking; experience in operational risk management and/or financial crime compliance is an advantage.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across a broad range of stakeholders; resilient and adaptable in a changing environment.

Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).

Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
