Job summary

MTR Corporation Limited 香港鐵路有限公司 is expanding its AI Centre of Excellence in Hong Kong to accelerate responsible AI adoption across the organization. The role focuses on governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance for AI and data initiatives.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, AI governance, and risk management, and can communicate effectively in English and Chinese. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS / IS / DS / Engineering / Cybersecurity or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in cybersecurity, AI governance, technology risk management, data governance, privacy, compliance, internal audit, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assess AI and data use cases, governance reviews, and risk-based decisions to support responsible AI adoption.
• Advise stakeholders on AI governance, Responsible AI, data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of AI governance frameworks, controls, standards, processes, and reporting mechanisms.
• Monitor, assess, and escalate AI, technology, data, privacy, and compliance risks, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Prepare governance dashboards and management reports, leveraging AI and analytics tools to enhance governance effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Data Science / Engineering / Cybersecurity, Risk Management / Business Technology or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in cybersecurity, AI governance, technology risk management, data governance, privacy, compliance, internal audit, or related disciplines
• Possession of a professional certification in AI governance, information security, privacy, risk management, or related disciplines is preferred
• Experience in working in large and complex enterprise environments, with proven ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders
• Good understanding of Responsible AI, AI governance, data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, risk management frameworks, and emerging AI regulations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
