Job Title Assistant IT Manager
Duties Key Responsibilities
Vendor Technical Management & Quality Control: Supervise external technical vendors, review their source code and deliverables, and ensure all outsourced developments strictly comply with internal security and architectural standards.
Technical Coordination: Collaborate closely with the internal Project Manager to evaluate vendor technical proposals, define system specifications, and ensure seamless integration between vendor solutions and internal systems.
System Maintenance & Development: Maintain, debug, and enhance existing corporate web systems (ASP.NET/ASPX), handling various business logic modules, user authentication, and third‑party integrations (e.g., payment gateways).
System Revamp Project: Assist in setting up API servers and developing RESTful APIs to integrate legacy backend systems with newly developed frontends and Strapi CMS.
Infrastructure & Security: Work alongside the IT team to monitor web performance and manage network security utilizing Cloudflare (CDN/WAF) and Firewalls.
AI Integration & Automation: Explore and assist in implementing AI technologies and automated workflows to improve internal operational efficiency.
Technical Documentation & Support: Update technical specifications, conduct testing during revamp phases, and provide technical troubleshooting for internal users.

Other Requirements Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years of solid experience in web application development is required for the Assistant Manager role. Experience in vendor management or technical evaluation is a strong advantage.
Strong programming skills in C#, ASP.NET (ASPX), and Microsoft SQL Server.
Solid experience in RESTful API development and JSON. Experience with Headless CMS (e.g., Strapi) or modern frontend frameworks is a strong advantage.
AI Technology (Nice-to-have): Knowledge of AI concepts. Hands‑on experience with local AI model deployment (e.g., hosting open-source LLMs) and AI workflow automation (e.g., Dify, n8n, LangChain) is highly preferred.
Understanding of web security and networking. Previous exposure to Cloudflare or Firewall is highly preferred.
Proactive problem‑solver with a strong willingness to learn new technologies.
Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
