Job summary

Kowloon Development Company Limited, a Polytec Group member, is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager (Structural) for large-scale residential developments in Hong Kong.

You will lead the review and approval of structural drawings, monitor site execution, and liaise with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with design and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• HKIE (Structural/Civil) or MIStructE membership preferred.
• Hands-on capability in structural design review and site trouble-shooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review and approval of structural drawings, calculations, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Monitor site execution to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safety/quality standards.
• Identify and resolve complex structural and construction issues on site to avoid delays.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver structural works on time, within budget, and in compliance with project requirements.
• Lead structural tender processes, evaluate contractor proposals, review contract terms, and oversee budget control throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the review and approval of structural drawings, calculations, method statements, and technical submissions to ensure alignment with design specifications and structural integrity.
• Monitor site execution to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., Buildings Department regulations), contractual obligations, and strict safety/quality standards.
• Identify and resolve complex structural and construction issues on site to avoid project delays.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure structural works are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with project requirements.
• Lead structural tender processes, evaluate contractor proposals, review contract terms, and oversee budget control throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years of solid project management experience in large-scale residential developments in Hong Kong (preferably developer or Tier-1 contractor background).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Membership of HKIE (Structural / Civil Division) or MIStructE is preferred.
• Strong technical background with hands‑on capability in structural design review, construction sequence analysis, and site trouble‑shooting.
• Good presentation skills, self‑motivated and a team player with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Project Manager.
