Job summary

Jebsen Insurance, the licensed insurance brokerage arm of MF Jebsen Group, seeks a proactive Assistant Account Manager to manage client relationships across General Insurance, Employee Benefits, and Financial Lines. You will handle renewals, placement, servicing, and claims coordination while building long-term partnerships with clients and insurers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in insurance servicing, with IIQE qualifications and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in insurance broking or servicing.
• Holder of relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., IIQE Papers 1 & 2).
• Solid knowledge of General Insurance, Employee Benefits, Group Medical & Financial Lines products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing enquiries relating to policy coverage, renewals, and claims matters.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive and responsive service.
• Liaise closely with insurers and underwriters to obtain quotations, negotiate terms, arrange coverage, and resolve client issues.
• Advise clients on policy renewals, coverage enhancements, and risk considerations to ensure suitable insurance solutions are in place.
• Prepare and present insurance quotations, placement slips, cover notes, policy documents, endorsements, and invoices accurately and professionally.
• Manage the end-to-end renewal process, including client communication, documentation follow-up, quotation comparison, and policy placement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, policy documentation, and correspondence within the broker management system.
• Coordinate and support claims handling by assisting clients with claim notifications, liaising with insurers, and monitoring claim progress through to settlement.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Support team initiatives and collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service. Participate in client meetings and presentations as required.

We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Assistant Account Manager to join our insurance broking team.
