Job summary

Star Anise Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Information Governance Manager for Asia to own the regional records programme and compliance. Based in Hong Kong, you will lead a small team and collaborate with lawyers and staff while steering cloud migration and firmwide initiatives.

This is a full-time, on-site role with light travel and occasional overtime. You will supervise records operations, drive electronic recordkeeping adoption, manage holds and dispositions, and report KPI health to

Qualifications

Seven+ years' experience in records and information management.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with specialised coursework.
Proficiency in document management and recordkeeping applications; cloud migration experience a plus.
Leadership experience in a professional services or law-firm setting.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; independent worker.

Responsibilities

Supervise regional records management operations and staff; assign work and conduct performance reviews.
Drive adoption of electronic recordkeeping; oversee active/inactive records systems and centres.
Coordinate transfers to off-site storage and matter records worldwide; ensure holds and dispositions align with policy.
Deliver records management education, orientations, and training; monitor service levels and vendor invoices.
Track KPIs and report programme health and compliance to leadership.
