Job summary

SNAPGO SERVICE LIMITED in Hong Kong seeks an events and arts programme coordinator to support planning and delivery of district-wide festive and thematic events, including Mid-Autumn and Chinese New Year lantern carnivals, and ethnic performances.

You will liaise with arts groups and venues, coordinate logistics, oversee video shooting, editorial work, publicity, and provide admin and on-site supervision to ensure smooth performances and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ full-time working experience, including at least 2 years in organising cultural/arts related programmes, event management or arts administration.
• Experience and knowledge of video production, website and social media management; knowledge of performing arts and backstage technical support; knowledge on Photoshop is a bonus.
• Experience in programme management and/or performance venue management is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organising territory-wide festive and thematic events such as Mid-Autumn and Chinese New Year lantern carnivals and ethnic performances.
• Assist liaising with arts groups and venues for implementation details and operations.
• Assist in organising 18dART Community Arts Scheme across districts, coordinating with arts groups and venues on logistics.
• Coordinate video shooting, editorial work, design and distribution of printed and digital publicity.
• Formulate and execute marketing and publicity strategies for programmes.
• Act as on-site duty officer at events, monitor performances and handle contractors for smooth runs.
• Act as secretary for programmes and operations meetings.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for programme implementation.
• Assist in preparing returns and reports (financial, statistical, administrative) and other duties as assigned by seniors.
