Job summary

SNAPGO SERVICE LIMITED is seeking a Programme Coordinator in Hong Kong to support regular screenings and manage materials, liaising with film companies, designers and artists. The role involves coordinating copyright matters, procurement, and carrier selection for the screening program.

You will work with the Conservation Unit, design teams and translators to ensure quality publicity and smooth operations for events and post-talks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Film/ Television Studies, Media/ Communication Studies, Fine Arts, or related field.
• 3 years full-time work experience in film companies, film festivals, or cultural sectors.
• Experience in Cultural institutes, Museums, Archives or Film Festivals is a must.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere and data entry in Chinese and English.
• Knowledge of handling film and paper-based materials and magnetic formats.

Responsibilities

• Provide programme coordination support for regular screenings and supervise staff for packing/unpacking and loaning/returning materials; liaise with film companies, designers, video artists and others.
• Liaise with copyright owners for copyright issues and coordinate with Conservation Unit for film checking; select suitable carriers for screening and sourcing.
• Coordinate with designers, printers, writers and translators for print collateral and online displays.
• Check and proofreading publicity materials and supervise the work of the Technical Assistant.
• Assist in film scheduling and manage marketing and communications with IPRS, contractors and social media.
• Moderate post-talks and seminars.
