Job summary

Happy Life Education Foundation Limited invites applications for a dedicated Art Teacher to join our vibrant Art Department. You will deliver high-quality instruction across Primary and Secondary levels, including Cambridge IGCSE, AS/A Level, and IBDP Arts, while supporting character education and campus visual enhancement.

The role requires planning, delivering diverse media, assessing progress, and guiding exhibitions and portfolio development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art or related field.
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGDE, or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years’ relevant teaching experience.
Experience with IBDP, Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Art programs.
Proven ability to build and implement an Art curriculum across age groups.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver Art lessons across Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, AS/A Level and IBDP.
Teach a broad range of media and techniques (drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital art, mixed media).
Monitor and assess student progress; provide constructive feedback and targeted support.
Develop and implement a progressive Art curriculum and teaching resources.
Encourage inquiry-based, creative practice and critical reflection.
Promote character development and value-based education through the arts.
Prepare students for art competitions, exhibitions and portfolio development.
Collaborate on departmental planning, cross-curricular projects and school events.
