Job summary

Handel Associates Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a skilled Architect/Designer with 5+ years of professional experience to lead design and delivery of projects across the region. In this full-time role, you will collaborate with clients and the project team, manage timelines and budgets, mentor junior staff, and contribute to creative solutions from concept through design development.

The position starts in-office with six months onboarding, then a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Designer/Architect.
• Strong 3D design skills and space planning.
• Experience delivering a range of projects in residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use sectors.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign; Revit and Rhino preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architectural design, production, and presentation work for residential, commercial office, hospitality and mixed-use projects.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and the broader project team to understand requirements and deliver creative design solutions.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and design professionals within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and international practices.
• Strong 3D design skills and space planning.
• Comfortable with design and documentation from concept design to design development phases.

• Software knowledge: Autocad, Sketch-up, Photoshop, and Indesign experience a must. Revit, Rhino, Rendering, AI, and Chinese language skills preferred.

Remote Work Policy

To support onboarding, training, and team integration, new hires are required to work from the office full-time during their first six months. After this initial onboarding period, employees transition to the firm’s hybrid schedule of three in-office days and two optional remote days per week.
