JustOneGalaxy Recruitment Limited is seeking an Application & IT Operation Support Analyst to assist with event operations and the enterprise event management system. You will provide onsite technical support, manage pre/post-event activities, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth event operations.
The role involves maintaining core systems, monitoring performance, resolving issues, and producing reports while keeping documentation up to date.
Reporting to the Solution Manager, the Application & IT Operational Support Analyst / Officer is responsible for supporting, operating, and enhancing the enterprise Event Management & Registration System and related technologies to ensure smooth event operations.
Event Operations and Onsite Support
Provide onsite technical support at various event venues for over 40 events per year, including system setup, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Support pre-event and post-event activities, including inventory control, logistics coordination, and data reconciliation.
Coordinate equipment and onsite IT infrastructure arrangements with external vendors and internal teams.
Application Support and Maintenance
Maintain and support the core event management systems and related applications to ensure stable, secure, and reliable operations.
Monitor system performance and assist in resolving application, data, network, and hardware issues.
Collaborate with in-house development teams or vendors on application enhancements, system maintenance, troubleshooting, user acceptance testing (UAT), and operational readiness.
Handle local and overseas user enquiries, tracking business requirements and operational issues through to full resolution.
Reporting, Data Validation, and Documentation
Prepare operational, management, standard, online, and ad-hoc reports.
Validate report figures through data quality checks, reconciliation, analytics, and confirmed attendance records.
Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and knowledge transfer materials.
Education: Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in IT system support or application development, with hands-on exposure to networking and printer setup.
Database Skills: Solid experience with MongoDB queries and aggregation pipelines.
Technical Proficiency: Practical knowledge of iPads, laptops, networking equipment, Raspberry Pi, and printer configurations.
Event Operations: Prior experience in event-based operations and onsite IT support is an advantage.
Bonus Exposure: Experience with cloud/development platforms (AWS, Node.js, RESTful APIs, DevOps, Linux, GitLab CI) or mobile app environments (Android, iOS) is a plus.
