Job summary

Lenovo Hong Kong is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (Application) to lead the successful delivery of application development and system implementation projects for clients. You will manage scope, timeline, budget, resources, and quality while collaborating with clients, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications

5+ years of IT project management experience with a focus on application development.
Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level web, mobile, cloud, or business applications.
Experience managing projects for external clients within an IT consulting, system integration, or professional services environment.
Hands-on experience working with software development teams and SDLC delivery processes.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of application development projects, from initiation through deployment and post-implementation support.
Work closely with clients to gather requirements, define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocation plans, budgets, and risk registers.
Manage cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, UX/UI Designers, DevOps Engineers, and external vendors.
Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
Facilitate project meetings, status updates, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communications.
Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality standards, technical requirements, and business objectives.
Coordinate application development activities following Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Work with solution architects and technical leads to ensure feasible and scalable solutions are delivered.
Manage project financials, including effort estimation, budget tracking, resource utilization, and profitability.
Oversee vendor and third-party coordination where required.
Support pre-sales activities, solution proposals, project estimation, and client presentations when needed.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and governance frameworks.
Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices in project delivery.
