Job summary

JPMorganChase in Hong Kong seeks an Executive Director to lead APAC Firmwide Strategy. You will shape the region’s strategic agenda, originate growth opportunities, and drive initiatives from decision to execution.

You will work with APAC CEO and leadership to mobilize teams and deliver measurable outcomes across diverse markets. You will build relationships with senior leaders, manage trade-offs, and deliver CEO-ready narratives while coaching a high-performing team and strengthening strategy

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in top-tier strategy consulting, internal strategy, corporate development, or high-growth environments.
• Demonstrated track record of building and scaling initiatives with executive buy-in and measurable delivery.
• Strong executive stakeholder management with credibility among senior leaders.
• Structured problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and creates clarity quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to produce CEO-ready narratives.
• Commercial acumen across diverse APAC countries, products and client segments.

Responsibilities

• Own CEO-level problem statements and translate priorities into workplans, decision points, and executive-ready recommendations.
• Build relationships and trust with senior leaders across the region and globally.
• Drive decisions and alignment across lines of business, functions, and countries; manage trade-offs.
• Originate growth initiatives, identify opportunities, build investment cases, and secure sponsorship.
• Lead end-to-end strategy delivery with hypothesis-driven work, direction, and roadmaps with owners, timelines, and KPIs.
• Create executive narratives and deliver materials for CEO/business leadership forums.
• Build and lead high-performing teams with a strong operating cadence and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop strategy capabilities and improve ways of working, including practical AI enablement where it adds value.
