Job summary

JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in APAC is seeking an Associate in Global Investment Banking - Private Capital Markets to help private companies raise capital in the private markets across the Asia Pacific region.

You will work with issuer clients, market researchers, and investment teams to support bespoke growth financing strategies across equity and structured transactions. You will engage in investor outreach, assist in marketing materials, and coordinate deal processes from launch to signing,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics or related field.
Minimum 5 years of full-time investment banking or buyside experience.
Interest in private capital markets and minority equity transactions.
Willingness to work across APAC markets and multiple transaction types.
Strong financial analysis and corporate finance skills.
Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
Mandarin language fluency to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Engage issuer clients with country teams to understand business models and performance.
Identify investor universe for transactions and liaise with investors.
Prepare transaction marketing and process materials.
Coordinate the deal process from launch to signing with all parties.
Handle a variety of tasks and opportunities to step up due to high deal flow.
Receive training, mentoring, and development opportunities.
Develop skills to become a senior executive capable of executing own transactions.
