Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in Hong Kong seeks a Technology Support Lead in Employee Platforms to ensure production services run smoothly and lead day-to-day maintenance, with rapid issue resolution. You will oversee outsourced staff for live events and coordinate with Communications and Workplace Services to deliver failure-free experiences.

Strong background in multimedia, broadcast tech, and enterprise streaming tools like Zoom and Kaltura is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, cybersecurity, data science, or related disciplines.
5+ years’ experience in multimedia or similar role in broadcast TV operations and live event technologies.
Senior technology leader with deep knowledge of all AV and broadcast products and best practices around live execution.
Experience with enterprise streaming apps such as ZOOM and Kaltura.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to translate client objectives into Multimedia technology requirements.
Proven ability to multitask, delegate, and manage multiple live events concurrently.
Ability to work under pressure with a calm demeanor to ensure large meetings and events run smoothly.
Experience interacting with C-level and senior management in planning and executing live events.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage outsourced technical staff, studio production webcasts and tapings, event transmission control teams, and oversee senior level town halls and meetings in Hong Kong.
Assist the Communication teams with editorial and creative decisions and execution capabilities.
Run a book of meetings as the primary lead, and manage a team of producers and technical operators.
Partner with Workplace Services to schedule staff and equipment for each live event scenario.
Attend and lead client meetings to ensure GMS products and services meet client event requests.
Validate new GMS AV operations equipment and ensure technicians meet standards for event operations skills.
Manage and schedule pre-event testing and validation processes, followed by all team members.
Provide adequate levels of event technical redundancy.
Provide flawless show calling abilities in studio and event spaces, and advise other event producers on best practices.
Provide real-time communication to management around RAG status on all aspects of live events.
Ensure the Incident Management processes are followed by all team members.
