Job summary

AVI-SPL Asia Pacific is seeking an AV Technician based at client sites in Hong Kong. You will support fully integrated conference rooms and large spaces, working with APAC teams to provide onsite and remote event support and to update incidents in Service Now.

You will interface daily with customers, perform operation and testing of AV components, and assist with troubleshooting. The role requires flexibility for after-hours work and travel to client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1–2 years AV/Videoconferencing/Webcasting experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and MR that meets AVI‑SPL driving standard.
• Flexible to work after hours and weekends.
• Ability to climb ladders and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote technical audio/video support for video conference systems and webcasting platforms.
• Manage technology requests for onsite/virtual/hybrid meetings and events.
• Serve as first point of contact for internal and external customers; troubleshoot and escalate issues.
• Monitor customer environment and devices; provide Tier 1 support for video conferencing and AV systems.
• Schedule and assist with webcast platform bookings and rehearsal runs.
• Launch, test, monitor, and produce webcast events and meetings.
