Job summary

UBS AG is looking for an Executive Director – FX Strategy at the Chief Investment Office in Hong Kong. This influential role is focused on developing trade ideas and providing senior-level client engagement in the APAC region.

The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 10–15 years of macro strategy or research experience, and advanced quantitative skills. This position also requires proficiency in Mandarin or another local language for effective presentations.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in macro strategy or research at a leading financial institution.
• Experience in research and price forecasting for gold, copper, and aluminum is a plus.
• Comfortable in an international, matrixed team.

Responsibilities

• Cover APAC FX strategy and engage with sophisticated clients.
• Develop forecasts and trade recommendations for core APAC currencies.
• Lead large events and address complex macro/cross-asset questions.
• Represent UBS at major client events.
