Job summary

UBS AG is seeking an Investment Strategist for the CIO APAC credit team based in Hong Kong or Singapore. You will focus on Asia ex-Japan bonds, develop a bottom-up credit framework, and publish reports on credit strategy and issuer updates. The role involves client-facing pitches and collaboration with Advisors.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in Asia credit with strong analytical skills, Bloomberg/CapitalIQ experience, and fluent English. Mandarin is a plus in a multicultural APAC setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Asia credit.
• Strong analytical skills and financial market knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Proficient in English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Experience with Bloomberg and CapitalIQ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop bottom-up credit analysis framework for covered issuers.
• Publish reports on credit strategy and issuer updates.
• Make relative value recommendations on bonds under coverage.
• Communicate views to internal and external stakeholders; contribute to CIO House View.
• Collaborate with Investment Counsellors and Advisors on pitches and client reviews.
• Maintain integrity of internal bond databases.
